I am tracing family history & know that 2 members of the Harmer family from the County of Kent, England emigrated to Canada in the early 1900's.
Charles Henry Harmer maybe to the Vancouver area & his younger brother James 18yrs old is shown on the Canadian 1911 census as lodging with the Sutherland family at Summerland. Other places mentioned on the census are Peachland & Okanagan. James had a daughter, Dolly.
I would be very grateful if anyone can help.
